Welcome to Negotiations for the World
Our vision is to make negotiation skills freely available globally by empowering local teachers through the world's first negotiations course in a box.
The Negotiations for the World project started out at INSEAD and ESMT Berlin. Professors Schweinsberg, Falcao, Parker, and Uhlmann compiled the teaching materials, and many of their students and now alumni have contributed to the course, either as case writers, or by providing consulting advice, translation help, and as instructors and evangelisers of the course materials.

Vision
The Negotiations Course for the World aims to bring negotiations teaching to the far corners of the world. We provide complete course materials, including exercise materials, slides that include exactly what to say on each slide, and teaching notes. All of this completely free and completely open source, so anyone, anywhere can teach a world-class negotiations course from scratch, wherever they are, and without zero prior negotiation knowledge. Our course is aimed precisely at rookie instructors who have never taught a course on negotiations before. We provide complete scripts so that even the most inexperienced instructor can just read out what they have to say and never be lost for words.
Next Steps
We are looking for funding to help us reach even more people. The Negotiations Course for the World has been exclusively run on a bootstrapped, start-up style budget of $0, entirely by volunteers. We have invested 1,000s of hours into this project and are committed to keeping it completely free of charge to reach as many people as possible. We have invested our own money and resources into this project and some of us have gone literally as far as flying to the other part of the world to help the project, only to be abruptly forced to stop by Covid-19.
However, we are now looking for funding to hire someone to help us with the day-to-day logistics and to coordinate / help equip the local heroes who are teaching negotiations, whether this is in Mumbai or Kairo. If you would like to support us, or know someone who might help us with funding, please get in touch.
